Hi,

I'm keen to begin using MoneyWell to manage my finances, but I keep
running into an issue that unfortunately makes the software pretty
much unusable for me.

I download transactions from my Bank's website in Quicken format. The
date format in the file is DD-MM-YYYY which matches my local date
format.

Whenever I import these transactions into MoneyWell, the dates for all
transactions are changed (they are advanced two days). For example, if
the original date was 16-07-2008, it will be imported into MoneyWell
as 18-07-2008. This means the dates on every transaction is wrong,
which makes it impossible to reconcile MoneyWell to my statement.

Is anyone familiar with this issue?

Cheers,
Lach

Hi Lach,

MoneyWell seems to have a problem with time zones in the New Zealand
side of the world. This has been fixed in 1.4 and is being tested in
the beta. Depending on how long the beta runs, a patch for 1.3.8 may
be released.

Peace,

That's great news Kevin. Thanks for the quick response. I've been
hanging out for the update because I can't find a better designed
personal finance solution than MoneyWell anywhere.
