Which is the best format to import bank data with?

My bank currently exports as the following:

Personal Accounting Software
-Quicken
-Makisoft Personal
-Money

Business Accounting Software
-QuickBooks
-Makisoft The Accountant
-Simply Accounting

Spreadsheet Software
-Comma Delimited (.csv for Excel, Quattro Pro, Lotus, etc.)

Which one would you recommend?

Thanks

Greg

Greg,

Use either Quicken (QFX) or Money (OFX). Both are really OFX spec
files and typically have the exact same content.

Hi Kevin

Can you give an update on the MT940 Import feature.
Any plans to iclude it in 1.4?
You see, for us europeans the 'direkt bank download from wirhin
moneywell' will not be very usefull, if at all. So (at least for me)
the direct import from a MT940 file would be great.

And yes. Any timetable for a german version?

As always, I think you do a terrific job as a MicroISV.

Sacha,

I may be adding CSV import to 1.4 but there are no plans for MT940 at
this time. To be honest, that is a very poorly designed standard and
I'm curious just how widespread it is across Europe. I've heard many
requests for CSV but only a couple for MT940.

We are cleaning up issues with the French translation now and once
those are all worked out, I'll post a request for help with
translations to German and other languages. I wanted to make sure we
had all the nits worked out first.
