Too many of the articles I receive are refreshes of articles I've
already received. Is there any way to stop receiving refreshes of a
previously received article?

Could you give me the URLs of some of these feeds?

What usually happens is that some feeds aren't done very well, and it seems like reruns, but the items are slightly different. I add special cases when it makes sense, which is why I want to see URLs of the feeds doing this, so I can figure out what's going on.

Brent,

Thanks. The worst offender for me is http://feeds.gawker.com/lifehacker/full.
I suspect they do this to inflate their clicks rate. It may be true
that there are minor edits made to the articles, but that doesn't
suddenly make them interesting to me. I should be able to block
those.

I am receiving this same problem too, it affects my Reuters feeds the
most. Almost any time I refresh I get a guaranteed ten old "unread"
articles which are the same stories dating back sometimes into the day
before or earlier depending on the time of the week.
