I understand your reason behind making it 64 bit-only, but of course
it sucks for people with first generation intel macs.
Maybe disable plugins altogether when running on a 32-bit machine?
That's now a big sacrifice, since many people already block flash with
ClickToFlash.

I see what you're saying. It's still a tricky situation -- because what will happen is I'll get a bunch of email from people telling me that Flash isn't working. It's one or the other: crashes, or questions about why there's no Flash.

And it's better for everybody if I spend that time working on the software rather than on email.

(However, as it is now, I get email asking me about 32-bit support -- it may be that there's no way out of this conundrum! My intention is just to maximize my time coding, which benefits everybody.)
