More on Waymo-enabled kidnapping

Waymo is so far refusing to answer questions regarding their
kidnapping of two misbehaving teenagers and turning them over to
police. Waymo has not as far as I know explained how they were alerted
to the behavior, or how police became involved. Police officials are
contradicting earlier reports from various media that the teens were
locked in the vehicle. However, many reports are that the teens were
lied to by Waymo and told there was a "maintenance issue" and then
taken to a parking lot and stopped. They were apparently not informed
that police were called, as Waymo was at this point obviously acting
as an agent of law enforcement. At last report I've seen the teens
have not been charged. Would a human cab driver have taken this
kidnapping/lying approach? I would think it unlikely. We need to ask
Alphabet/Google CEO Sundar how far he'd go to satisfy the Trump
administration in terms of Waymo-enabled kidnapping.
