ATTEND A TWO-DAY WORKSHOP ON PROPOSAL WRITING AND GET A 260+PAGE BOOK ON POST-2015 DEVELOPMENT AGENDA

Description: C:\Users\CAFSO-WRAG\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Content.Word\CAFSO-WRAG LOGO.JPG Text Box: CAFSO-WRAG for Development         Description: C:\Users\CAFSO-WRAG\Desktop\SDG pics\proposal.jpg

PRESENTS A TWO-DAY TRAINING WORKSHOP ON

FUND RAISING AND PROPOSAL WRITING

With a

Special session on NGO Management and Organizational profiling

Fundraising is the biggest milestone for non-profits and yet a big challenge because of the shrinking space for CSOs. There is donor fatigue as well as a shift in focus and geographic coverage. Even when there are opportunities for funding, some development actors lack the skills to write fundable proposals while some actually deviate from donors’ guidelines. In the light of this, this workshop is designed to provide useful tools and skills for fundraising, proposal writing and diversification from grant sourcing to profit making through social business.

Highlights:

As participants you will learn how to:

1.       Profile your organization for securing grants

2.       Develop suitable strategies for fundraising

3.       Practice proposal writing types/methods/parts

4.       Formulate a logframe fashioned after UNICEF, UNDP, USAID, or EU styles

5.       Develop monitoring and evaluation techniques etc

Additional benefits include: providing the addresses/links of donors funding development work; presenting alternative sources of income for NGOs; free 260+ page book on post-2015 Development Agenda; a booklet on SDGs; handouts and certificate of participation.

FACULTY:

·        Development experts of over 20 years’ experience

·        Specialists in monitoring and evaluation

·        Astute gurus in entrepreneurship

·        Experts that have won grants from EU, UNDP, SDF, USAID, OSIWA etc

Lodging: Accommodation at reduced rate for participants is available at Excellence Hotel, Ogba Lagos.
