Hello All-

I have some forwarded information from Lindsey Bowen, the Midwest JSA program director, as well as attachments about Winter Congress that you might want to check out. All of that is below.

Some of you have asked when the convention is. To clear up confusion, it is from Friday, Feb. 17- Sunday, Feb. 19. We will leave on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

All money is due no later than Thursday, as we need to book tickets immediately.

Teachers and Student Leaders:

I have attached the information for Winter Congress. The MW/SE/ORV Convention will be held in Arlington, VA/Washington, DC over the weekend of February 17-19, 2012. You have the option of arriving as early as Wednesday, February 15th. This convention is unique not only because of it's location but also because it brings so much of the country together for a mock-congress. This convention is truly exciting. JSA students will be kicking of a new activism project by lobbying their member of congress to sign on to H.R 3464: The Sandra Day O'Conner Act For Civic Learning.
