Winter Con debrief and Central Mini Convention

Hello All-
First of all, our Winter Congress convention was a major success. Our 25 members were 4% of the attendees, but we brought home 22% of the Best Speaker awards, with Vanessa Filey, Thomas Puccio, Nick Fattore, and Michael Brotzman all winning gavels. Congratulations to all of you who worked hard to pass your bills, and to those who spoke or debated for the first time as well. A shout out as well to Josie Dalton, who served as a Socialist whip, and Praneeth Tripuraneni, libertarian whip for excellent performances throughout the convention (and in Praneeth's case, for sheer, shall I say, moxified gumption).
Moving on, there is a mini convention on Saturday, March 3rd, at Naperville Central. Although we are going as a chapter, we will not, understandably, be providing a bus, so parents will have to drop off and pick up their children from NCHS directly. The entrance fee is $7, unless you bring in two canned goods, lowering the price to $5. The permission form is attached. Additionally, debates can be found here:
