Hello All-
On Saturday, March 4rth, Naperville North JSA members joined delegates from several other schools for a day of debating, thought talks, and humor for all. NNHS netted three best speaker awards, with sophomore Kristiana Yao winning one and junior Jack Carbonara winning two. Great job to both of them, and everyone else who participated as well.
Our third and final overnight convention of the year, located in exciting Oakbrook, Il., is quickly approaching in late April, and permission forms for Spring State will be sent out shortly. In addition to the normal debating and guest speaker programs usually scheduled for conventions, Spring State is of special interest for the election process and campaigning that goes on. I encourage you to all come, and experience perhaps a different feel and intensity to a convention than you've experienced before.
Speaking of elections, Will Donnelly has declared his candidacy for Senator!

There is a due date of March 15th for $150, which covers the cost of the hotel, convention, and bussing.
