Greetings from Africa Youth Ministries. By this mail, we’re writing to request for your partnership in our Sports Ministry in Uganda. Uganda has one of the world's youngest populations in the World, frequently ranked second only to Niger. Over 50% of Ugandans population is under 18 years old, with a median age of approximately 15–16 years. Over 70% of the population is under 30, highlighting a significant demographic youth bulge. Roughly 55% of the population is under 18 years old, Over 70-75% of the population is under 30. Our School Holiday Sports Outreach program commences on 1st of May, till 30th May 2026.
Sports remains the number one tool, that we can utilize to effectively reach and impact the youth. Our longest sports for development projects activity calendar runs from December until February, this is the longest School Holiday in Uganda, and our activities are on going, despite the challenges insufficient funds for coordination/management & sports equipment’s.
