Hi All!
My name is Kathleen Huynh, I am the Vice President of the Society of Women
Engineers (SWE), and this year I am helping to organize our annual
Collegiate Leadership Coaching Committee (CLCC). This is an event that
focuses on officer transitions for the new year, leadership roles, team
building, college to career transition, as well as networking with
professionals! It is normally geared towards SWE members, and helping with
the collegiate section, however this year we decided to open it up to all
clubs, because it is a GREAT opportunity to help your club's officers
transition, to new positions within the club.
The workshop will take place Saturday, April 6th from 9am-2pm. We will
meet briefly in MSEC 195 for breakfast, then move over to Jones Annex for
the leadership, officer training, and speed mentoring (where you get the
chance to talk/network with professionals from our section).
Please pass this on to all your members! It is a great opportunity not
only for upcoming officers, but for seniors who are about to graduate and
could learn a few tips about the transition.
*Please email me back by WEDNESDAY April 3rd!! That way, I can buy/prepare
the necessary amount of breakfast food for the event. Lunch is paid for
for all SWE members, so please be sure that if your club decides to join,
they will be responsible for paying for their own lunch (we will be eating
lunch at Sophia's).
SWE would greatly appreciate your participation!!! :)
