It's been a while, but things are starting to look good as far as meeting up goes!

I'm not going to schedule an official meeting for April, but if people who have been fully vaxxed want to try to organize something, go for it.  I won't have my second dose before then.

The next official meeting will be on May 19th.  We'll figure out the location as we get a little closer but will plan on something outdoors. We'll be sticking to the same 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm meeting time.

For the next few meetings, please plan on bringing your own tasting glasses.  I'm pretty sure Gunter bought some compostable cups which we can use as backups.

Ted also mentioned the Memorial Day campout at the Santa Fe Brewing Co hop farm.  Keep that in mind and we'll have more details about that as it gets a little closer.

I'll be keeping our homebrew club website up to date with the latest meeting information: https://brewsantafe.com

Get your brew setups dusted off so you can have some beer ready for the May meeting!  I just pitched yeast into a NEIPA w/ Rakau, Kohatu, Motueka, and Waimea (all NZ hops).  I'll have that at the next meeting (assuming it doesn't get finished first, haha).

See everyone soon!

Dear Fellow Brewers,

For those of you who have not yet gotten the vaccine, the easiest way to do so is through CVS.  They are giving the Pfizer one which is both the most effective and has the fewest side effects.  You can sign up by going to their website cvs.com or calling 800-746-7287.  I signed up last Wednesday and got my first shot Sunday.  The only side effect I had was a mildly sore arm when I woke up Monday morning.  I will get the second shot on April 25 and then it takes 10-14 days for full immunity.  I hope this information is helpful and I look forward to getting together with all of you in the near future.

Eric J. Heinrich

I'm offering my new deck in the backyard for the May meeting. By the my whole household will be fully vaxed and past the waiting period.

Likewise, everyone in my household is fully vaxed and I’m ready to taste some beers!  Also, I’m offering my backyard for a hosting site.

Cheers,
Lorrey
