February Meeting Notes

Our February Meeting was held at SF Brewing.

• February was our Coffee beer contest
• Brandon took 1st place: Coffee Imperial Stout
• Ken took 2nd place: Coffee Beer
• Michael took 3rd place: Papua New Guinea coffee Ale
• There were not a lot of other beers, so it was a shorter tasting list.
• There was karaoke music in the background, so louder than normal too.  We were tentatively offered Mondays for our March meeting, so I inquire if that will prove to be a quieter night.  So our March meeting might be the 16th instead of the 18th.
• March 8th (Sunday) will be our Tequila/Mezcal tasting.  I will send a separate reminder note

• Ben: Single Hop: McKenzie (Pale Ale), Single Hop: Michigan Copper (Pale Ale), Cold Brew Lime (Kettle sour with lime zest and cold brew coffee)
• Ken: Ken's coffee beer
•  - Homebrew - Competition entry
• Tom: Edmunds Fitzgerald Porter (Great Lakes Brewery), Latte Porter (Porter  w/ Lactose and coffee)
• David Gunter: Kokopellifest (Festbier - my entry for this years Oktoberfest but it finished too late)
• David Smith: Coffee Porter
• Brandon: Coffee Stout (Imperial Stout)
