Hey Sangres,

This is just a reminder that I'll be out of town for the November meeting which is set to take place on the 17th and as far as I know we don't have a location to meet or anyone who can run the meeting.

As far as club business goes, the main points to be discussed are:

* The Neomexicanus mini club competition date.  Is everyone good with doing it for the January meeting or should we hold off until Feb?  I saw David G. just brewed a delicious sounding Cherry Wit with the hops so maybe we want to aim for January? The only guidelines for this comp would be to use the Neomexicanus hops in any style of beer.

* What are the club's thoughts on a holiday party this year?  Should we try to organize one?  If so, thoughts on a venue or location? Do we just handle it like our Oktoberfest party and plan on having another potluck during our normal meeting?  I'm open to any suggestions and also don't mind hosting it.

* A more permanent meeting location.  This one has been kinda nagging at the back of my mind for a while but I'd really like to find a brewery or venue who wouldn't mind hosting us.  Unfortunately it's a double edged sword of most of the breweries not having a large enough room for us to meet in where we aren't blatantly drinking our own brew in front of their patrons, and the serving / legality issues of having people bringing in their own beverages for sharing.

Thanks!

-Brandon

I can host November's meeting at Cherie's house on 613 camino del monte sol. I'll need some card tables (at least 2) and bring a chair.

Ken
