Fall Mini-Club Competition - Festbier / Amber Lager

Get those lagering fridges dusted off and start thinking about a festbier / amber lager recipe!  We decided on that style for the next mini club competition where judging will take place at the October meeting (October 20th). This gives you three months to brew, lager and condition your beer before the competition.

Like the previous competitions, there isn't a strict guideline to follow as long as it falls into the lager category.  Marzen, Oktoberfest, festbier, amber lager, dunkel, etc are all perfect examples of a style that would be great for the competition.

Winner of this competition will get to hold onto the wooden brew paddle that Eric currently has.

Meeting minutes from last night's meeting will be sent out a little later.
