Hi Dr. Lee,
I do NMR data analysis through NMRbox using Real VNC, and currently I am facing some issues while I am working with Poky.
Once I open Poky, if I don’t keep my cursor on the Poky application, I get kicked out of the application. Previously, this wasn’t the case, and I could even leave the analysis running, and whenever I logged back into NMRbox, I could start from where I left off. I want to know if anyone else has the same issue. I’m not sure if it’s because of Poky or NMRbox.
Another issue is that my work cannot be saved. I go to File → Save as a project, but when I go back to check for the project, I cannot find where I saved it (nothing get saved). This was working until last December, and I didn’t work on my project for nearly three months. I’m facing these problems now.
Thank you

We don’t see the problem on local versions. I don’t know if NMRbox has implemented some stringent restrictions for applications that are not attended by the user to reduce the loads. You may want to ask them.
Another issue is that my work cannot be saved. I go to File → Save as a project, but when I go back to check for the project, I cannot find where I saved it (nothing get saved). Try to save a .save file using “Save as” to somewhere that you know and see if that has been generated. If NMRbox’s NFS settings have been changed, this can be also the reason for your first question. Some interruption on data transaction through NFS could cause some different things.
NMRbox runs user support through tickets. SLACK channel may be used for more interactive support.

Issue opening project in Poky after installation
Hi Dr. Lee,
Using Poky through the NMR box, I assigned backbone residues and now I want to move on to the side chain assignments. Since NMR box has some issues, I installed Poky on my PC and tried to open the backbone project, which has 15_HSQC, CACBNH, CBCACONH, and HNCO.
I am following the "Manual Protein NMR Sidechain Assignment" YouTube video from your group. When I tried to open the project, I got this problem (screenshot attached). How do I fix this?
Thank you!
Asha
