Dear Carlos,

Enter key is increasing the label size. “sN” works for the currently selected spectrum. Do you see “-- selected” on the window border of the spectrum of interest?

I also wonder if you are talking about the “grid line” not the “drawn line”. They are treated differently. “sN” works for the lines that you drew. “sG” works for the grid lines. Maybe “sG” is the one you look for if you want to select “grid lines”.

Best,

Woonghee

Thanks Woonghee for your fast answer.

I’m using Linux. I found the command sN withing cf, but it is not active (nothing happens) by double clicking. It is also not active if I’m working on a spectrum and I type sN. Now, if I am pointing to the main Sparky window, where you save the files, etc., and type there sN and then enter, it will increase the size of the labels on the spectrum I’m working on. Type and enter sN again and labels size increase again.

Well, I hope that this can help you in finding the problem.

Thanks a lot for your help.

                      Best regards,

                              Carlos.

Dear Carlos,

Do you use windows version? Sometimes windows version does not like holding a shift key. If that is the case, I recommend keeping “command finder (cf)” and searching “sN” there. When you need to select lines, just double-click in the command finder. Let me know if that resolves your issue.

Best,

Woonghee

Hello Woonghee,

It has been sometime since you sent me the email I’ve copied below. What happens is that I was working from home, and couldn’t update Sparky at that time. Now, I was able to do it. I’ve downloaded the lastest version built on 07/08/2020.

I tried typing sN but it didn’t select the lines as you mention in the email. A command like that clearly will be great, since it will allow to delete all the lines at once.

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong. Any help will be very much appreciated.

                           Thanks.

                             Best regards,

                                    Carlos.

[External Email]

I am sorry. I remember I added that feature.

“sN” will select all lines.

Hi Carlos,

I am glad you like sparky!  I am not positive whether there is a way to delete all the lines at once in sparky.  However, you may want to ask Woonghee (cc'd on this email), he is the person that is actively developing sparky.

Best,

Marco

Dear Marco,

My name is Carlos Steren, and I'm a fan of Sparky. I don't know if you are in charge of the soft. If not, I would appreciate if you could direct me to the right person.

I have a quick question. Is there a way to delete all the lines that you create with F3, all at once? It has been annoying for years to have to delete them one by one. Maybe the command is already there and I have missed it.

Any help will be greatly appreciate.

                                     Sincerely,
