Re: Error while using TALOS in Poky

Hi Prof. Lee,

I am using TALOS through Poky to generate a dihedral restraint file (.aco) for CYANA structure calculation. When I run the "tl" command to run either through TALOS-N or TALO-S+ server it fails with an error message: " Failed to run POKY TALOS-N server. Try later or use NIH server". 

When I check the terminal, I see the following message " /usr/local/src/poky_linux/python3.7_linux/lib/python3.7/site-packages/urllib3/connectionpool.py:1020: InsecureRequestWarning: Unverified HTTPS request is being made to host 'poky.clas.ucdenver.edu'. Adding certificate verification is strongly advised. See: https://urllib3.readthedocs.io/en/latest/advanced-usage.html#ssl-warnings

InsecureRequestWarning,

ERROR: pred.tab does not exist."

I would really appreciate your advice on fixing this within Poky.

Additionally is there any way I can directly generate .aco file using Poky?

Hi,

I don't think it is a Poky problem. What you see is a warning not an error message. It seems your talos input generation failed for some reason. I can take a look if you send me your resonance "rl" or you may try POKY Notebooks version instead to see what happens.

Yes my resonance list "rl" was the issue. I fixed it and it works now.
