Animal Care Shift schedule moving forward

Hello wonderful volunteers,

I hope this email finds you well. We had a beautiful release this afternoon with perfectly calm seas for Betelgeuse. Thank you all for caring so well for him on his road to recovery.

Due to only having one seal in house now, we are calling off all Animal Care shifts for the time being starting this Saturday, 4/19/25. 

Tomorrow we will operate one more time with the PM shift (3:30pm - 5:30pm). If anyone from the AM shift would like to come in as well, you are welcome to do so. 

We apologize for the frequent shift changes but due to these ongoing low patient numbers in house, we have not been operating at our normal capacity that would keep both day shifts busy.

If anything changes or Eclipse needs more hands onsite, we will reach out right away. That said, if you would like to stop by and help for a bit or come by for coffee or lunch, we would be very happy to see you.
