Upcoming Seal Release

Good afternoon NMLC Community,

We are happy to share that we have another patient that is ready for release.

Grey seal weanling Betelgeuse, who was rescued and transported to us by Whale and Dolphin Conservation, has completed his rehabilitation.

The release is planned for Thursday, April 17, 2025, in the early afternoon (exact time TBD), at a local beach.

If you are an active Animal Care Volunteer and would like to help with the release, please let us know via email to animalc...@nmlc.org.
