Good morning NMLC Community,

we have some exciting patient news to share with you.
Our grey seal patient "Eclipse", who was rescued by our colleagues at the MERR Institute in Delaware, is ready for release.

Eclipse's release is a celebration and a wonderful example of the extraordinary partnership we have with our network partners in the Greater Atlantic Region. Several organizations all the up the coast from Delaware to Buzzards Bay, MA were involved in giving this seal a second chance. A fantastic collaboration by all involved and the excitement from our partners about Eclipse's success story is just as great as ours here at NMLC.

Patient: male grey seal weanling Eclipse
When: Wednesday, 6/11/25, 4pm
Where: Plymouth, MA

If you are an active NMLC Volunteer and would like to help with/attend the release, please reach out to animalc...@nmlc.org.
For anyone from the NMLC Community who would like to attend the release, please reach out to animalc...@nmlc.org as well.

Best,
Lisa
