 I think assignments are out, I was able to download for 3rd sem..but I am not sure which subjects are applicable to whom. Kindly check and let me know if they right.

 

Any other news?

You can check last semester's exam time table to check the subjects
applicable to your specialization. :)

I called up this number " 4235 5515" and they routed me to the Admission department and they confirmed me the receipt of the Payment.

But till now I have not received the books for the Semester.

Friends,

I just now spoke to Mumbai office. They mentioned that the admission list
has been sent to Bangalore center and study material is to be collected from
there. I have sent a mail to Mr. Ketan Vohra to let us know when can we
collect the study material. Stay tuned for mail from Mr. Ketan. If I get
reply from Mr. Ketan, I will keep you guys posted.

This is a great news that Materials have arrived . but If we are waiting for a reply from Ketan then i think it will be too late as i don't seen him replying my mails .

Just before your mail arrived, Ketan has sent a mail to collect the study material. See attached. I don’t see your name in the recipient list. May be he is sending the mail in batches.

Last date for submitting assignments is Oct 10, 2012. Not communicated but if you download the form for submission of assignment, it has this date mentioned on the top.

 

This is really worrying though. Till date, we are struggling to get the study material and the date of submitting the assignment is already so close.

 

Not sure how will I complete the assignment on time.

Maybe we all can do 1 thing. We can all request the Mumbai Office to extend the last date of submission of assignments stating the reason that we received the study material so late. Actually I spoke to Ketan regarding this and this is what he suggested me. Also, I remember that the last date for submitting assignments was extended during the last semester as well.

Let me know your thoughts on this guys...

as far as my experience speaking to mumbai office has no outcome...they always ask us to talk to our coordinator.

in this case also they will not give us extended date on our request, may be if they feel they will extend but not on our request.

 

but we should never hestitate to try.

 

Question is: How can we make one voice of this request to Mumbai office? by official letter sign by Ketan ?

I agree , i would be tough to write assignments in 20 days or write it without studying.

We, students of July 2011 batch from Bangalore study center, are writing to you with reference to the date of submission of assignments for 3^rd semester. We do not have a communication thru the SDL website or thru email about date of submission of assignments for 3^rd Semester. But when we downloaded the form to be submitted along with the assignments, we got to know that the date for submission of assignment is Oct 10, 2012.

 

Today only, we have received mail from our study center to collect the study material for 3^rd / 4^th semester.

 

Considering the fact that between today ( when we get the study material ) and date of submission of assignments, there are less than 20 days, it will be really difficult to complete the assignment for all 5 subjects in such a short time. Therefore, request you to extend the date of submission to Oct 21, 2012 so that we get at least one month to work on assignments.

 

Also, we want to know when will the PCP classes will start? We haven’t received any communication on that as well.
