Fwd: June 2013 Examinations Results

Hi All,

Did anybody scored less in Business law? I called Ketan and complained about less marks in assignment and Theory paper of Business law. He asked me to submit paper for revaluation. However, He also suggested if more people are having same complaint regarding 'Business law' then send a consolidated mail to NMIMS, Mumbai centre with the issue.

Please do reply and forward to those who are facing same issue.

This is to inform that June 2013 examination results for default and re-examinations is available on the website distance.nmims.edu on the home page in Latest from SDL and in the Examination link.

Kindly check the same.

 

Students of PG diploma programs who have completed their default one year period and students of Diploma programs who have cleared all 10 subjects of their first year to go ahead with their second year admission, last date for the second year admission is 10^th September, 2013. All the details for the same is available on the website on homepage in Admission Announcement.

For revaluation, form is available on nmims site. last date for that is 12th sept. Also we've to send DD of Rs. 250 along with it.

details are available on the site.

Also, lets send a consolidated mail to mumbai study center for rechecking results of Business law as many are having same concern.

I am not sure if you guys noticed the marks in the Financial Accounting assignment ( in second semester ), I was shocked to see my marks then. I talked to Ketan about it and he told me that there is no way to get the revaluation done for assignments. At that time, I had put in some random roll numbers on the website and found that every one of them had scored really low in the assignment of financial accounting. I told this also to Ketan but he had the same answer that there is no way of revaluation of assignments.

 

So, if are planning to apply for revaluation, be cautious that it will be only for written exam not assignment ( unless they have changed the policy now ).

 

BTW, my marks are also all time low in Business Law and will require me to re-appear in Dec. I am all for revaluation.

Hi All,

 

I have checked with Ketan regarding fewer marks in Business Law. He had asked me to send a handwritten letter signed by all of us who has concerns regarding this. As it is not feasible for us, I've told him that we'll be sending mail individually regarding our concern and he'll take it forward to the administration.

Please send a mail to Ketan regarding your concerns, if any.

I am in Mumbai and just want to add that the response is not very great and that we the follow up needs to be taken up regularly. Also, pl confirm with Ketan to whom the mail or letter needs to be addressed. If it only to examination dept or to SDL center, than be sure it will never reach to concerned person. This I am sharing only after facing multiple problems right from study centre transfer to mark sheet issues. Ketan is helpful but you need to send the mail/letter to specific person.

As of now, you can send mail Ketan. Also, he has informed, there are many students from Bangalore study centre who are having same concern. And yes we need to follow up regularly regarding this.
