Entrepreneurship Cell of School of Business Management, NMIMS, Mumbai is back with its flagship event SUTRA a national level platform for budding Entrepreneurs to pitch their Business Plan to Venture Capitalists and Angel Investors.
Last year SUTRA attracted applications from 100 B-Schools; this year we want to provide this platform to Engineering, Fashion Technology, and other undergraduate colleges as well.
If your plan is worth it, it may attract funding from our panellist.
To “Add 2 cents to your million dollar IDEA”this is what we have to offer –
The Best B-Plan gets INR 45,000 cash and the second best gets INR 25,000 cash to start / expand their start-up.
( don’t worry we won’t be asking for a share in your start-up)
SUTRA will be conducted in three stages:-
1. Teams are requested to submit the EXECUTIVE SUMMARY before the stipulated deadline.
2. The shortlisted teams will be asked to submit their Business Plan (if you have faith in your B-Plan don’t wait till the shortlist is out, start working on your B-plan from this very moment)
3. Finally the top 6 teams will be called to the campus of School of Business Management, NMIMS, Mumbai to pitch their idea to our esteemed panel of judges.
‘An entrepreneur without funding is like a musician without an instrument.’ If the judges feel you have the potential, you could walk away a percussionist.

Travel reimbursement would be given at actual for One way 3rd Tier AC Railway fare or Rs 1500 per head, whichever is lower, the tickets need to be preserved and presented to avail reimbursement
