NOTICE

Convocation 2014 - Full Time MBA Students

7 March 2014 

Dear Students

 

In continuation to the Dean’s notice dated 20 January, the brief agenda of 19 April 2014 is mentioned below for your reference.

 

Saturday- 19 April 2014

Dress Code: Formals

 

Registration/Rehearsal & Dean’s List

Venue : Bhaidas Hall

 

9.00 am – 9.45am :                  Registration (Allocation of Seat numbers / distribution of

                                                Gowns and caps / Coupons)

9.45am – 11.00 am :                Rehearsal

                                                Student mock procession with Army Band

Faculty mock procession / Mock Declaration -names of registered students

11.00 am–11.15 am                Dean’s List –Declaration and certificates handing over

   

Photo Session of Graduating Students

Venue : Outside Santokba Hall

 

11.30 am to 1.20 pm   :           Group Photo sessions at Santokba Hall (outside)

                                               

Convocation Ceremony

Venue : Bhaidas Hall

 

2.50 pm :                                 Staff, Guest & Parents to be seated in the Hall. (The door of hall will be closed at 3.15 pm)

3.00 pm to 6.30 pm:               Convocation Proceedings

6.30 pm:                                  High Tea

 

Only Registered students names will be called for the Convocation proceedings. After registration in the morning of 19 April academic office will prepare the final list of registered students, excluding names of absentees. This final list will be used for calling names on the stage etc. The certificates on the stage will also be kept in the same order.

 

No student in any circumstances will be allowed to register late on 19 April 2014. For emergent situation, the prior permission from undersigned will be required for leave of absence.

 

Students are required to clear all dues from Accounts/ Library/ admission/ Hostel etc latest by 24 March 2014. We will be sending consolidated list of students to all concerned departments seeking their signatures for no dues. Individual student need not to take signatures from various departments for clearance. The defaulters, if any, as informed by concerned departments will be required to submit clearance forms to Academic office.

 

The students will not be allowed to register in absence of clearance from all concerned Departments. 

 

The student guidelines, procession order, auditorium layout & broad agenda will be mailed to you by I week of April 2014.
