ABILIS NEEDS YOUR STORY
Abilis Foundation is planning to produce a book
about its work. That is why we would like to
invite you to take part in writing a book.
The book we are making is about you. We want to document the changes that can be made in lives of persons with disabilities around the world with support from Abilis. We need your story in the book.
We want to know how your everyday life has changed after you or your family member got support from Abilis. You can describe how your life was earlier, before the project, and how it is today. It can be a very small change or big one. All kinds of stories interest us.
The story can be short or long, you can write poems if you want, anything that feels right for you is good for us.
Tell us about a concrete thing that has changed or tell us about a change in your or other people's mind, thinking, behavior or feelings. Even small details are interesting.
You can take part by writing your story yourself or ask somebody you know to write for you. You can write together in a group also.
The story can be written in any language. We will translate and edit the texts in Finland. (And don´t worry if there are misspellings or wrong grammar, we can fix that.)
