NMIMS announces admission to its undergrad programs (after 10+2)

Launches new programs B.Sc (Finance) and B.Tech.(Textile Technology)

 

SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies announces entrance test NMAT (UG) for the admission (for session 2014-15 ) in 3 year degree and 5 year Integrated degree programs B.Sc. (Economics), MBA (Pharma. Tech.), B.Tech., MBA (Tech.), BBA, B.Com (Hons.). NMIMS is also introducing a new program B.Sc. Finance this year. These programs will be offered under its various schools at Mumbai and Shirpur Campus.

 

Candidates appearing for 12^th standard from any board, may enroll online on www.nmims.edu before 25^th April 2014. The entrance test NMAT UG is scheduled on 10^th & 11^th May 2014.

 

NMIMS has also announced two new programs B. Sc (Finance) under Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce at Mumbai campus and B.Tech (Textile Technology) under Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering, Shirpur Campus.

 

The B.Sc.(Finance) aims at providing students with specialized knowledge in the field of finance.  It is aimed at providing advanced understanding of international aspects of financial markets and other aspects of finance domain.  It can be treated as a terminal course where students can get job opportunities in Investment Banks, Insurance Companies, Broking Houses and Asset Management Companies and can also work as a Research Analyst. 

 

The B.Tech. (Textile Technology) provides the students with a platform to develop insight to face some of the toughest real life challenges in Technology for which Centre For Textile Functions (CTF) has adopted “See and learn and work and learn concept” to come out with innovative 
Solutions with skills as required to work in the present   Technology available in Textile Industry. The B.Tech (Textile Technology) program has strong Textile Industry support for training. Students have best future to make career   in Textile industries  in India and abroad .

 

Candidates may enroll for Entrance test NMAT(UG) at www.nmims.edu before 25^th April, 2014. The test will be held on 10^th and 11^th May, 2014 at centers across the country.  -- ENDS –
