NMIMS Announces Results of NMAT 2014 for MBA & PGDM Admissions

Mumbai, 25 January| Leading deemed University SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has announced the results of its national online entrance test NMAT 2014 for the selection of candidates for academic year 2014 in MBA and PGDM programs.

Dr. Rajan Saxena, Vice Chancellor of NMIMS informed that the Cutoff for this year has been declared as 94.709% (similar to last year – 94.936%) and out of 63106 candidates appeared, 2289 have been shortlisted for Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI). (last year 2378 candidates were shortlisted).Shortlisted candidates include 24% females, which is 5% more as compared to NMAT 2013. This year, we have also noticed substantial increase in preference for MBA-HR. Total 872 candidates shortlisted for MBA-HR compared to 698 candidates last year. 85% of shortlisted candidates are engineering graduate.

Candidates can view their score card on university’s website and shortlisted candidates would be able to download CD/PI Call Letter and register online to appear for CD/PI.

Case Discussion and Personal Interviews for both MBA and PGDM will be conducted from 12^th February to 22^nd February at Mumbai campus, while the same for PGDM applicants will also be conducted at Bengaluru Campus of NMIMS.

Candidates will be given a case to discuss in a 20 minute session with additional 5 minutes to sum up followed by Personal Interview before a panel comprising of a internal faculty, an industry expert and an alumnus of NMIMS.

NMIMS has also asked shortlisted candidates to present their NMAT Photo Admit Card during the CD/PI for verification purpose. Final Merit List of selected candidates will be announced on 5^th March, 2014. ---END ---
