Slowdown? Pre-Placement Offers at NMIMS’s School of Business Management sees a high
Mumbai, September 12, 2013: The markets have been challenging but placements at NMIMS have begun on a positive note displaying support of the industry. This year the offers so far are 48, and NMIMS hopes to surpass the figure of 90 of last year soon.
The School of Business Management of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) University, is witnessing a positive trend in placements. The offers from companies speak about the faith of the industry in NMIMS and the caliber of students.
While companies such as Goldman Sachs, J P Morgan, Microsoft, HCCB, Wipro, Idea Cellular, ICICI Bank, Cognizant Business Consulting, Cummins, Henkel, Starcom Media West, Genpact, Group M etc have announced full time offers so far, many more are in the anvil.
Summer Internships are structured at our B school wherein efforts are to orient students towards their choice of sectors and companies. Over 140 companies across sectors had offered internships to students of the Flagship MBA, MBA Banking, MBA Capital Markets & MBA HR programs.

At present though the market & economy are not in good shape but corporate world is actively recruiting students from NMIMS, which is reflected by the healthy number of PPOs coming in,” said Dr. Rajan Saxena, Vice Chancellor, NMIMS University.
