Greetings from U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai!
We will be holding Student Visa Day on Thursday, May 28. All visa appointments that day are set aside exclusively for students applying for visas to pursue higher education in the United States. Attached is a flyer about the event which can be circulated. We would appreciate it if you could spread this message to your students so they can choose to schedule their visa interview on Student Visa Day.
Student applicants being interviewed on this day will be treated to a festive atmosphere and refreshments. Also, Consular and USIEF (United States-India Educational Foundation) representatives will be on hand to answer questions and provide tips on academics and campus life in the U.S.
Students wishing to apply for visas on Student Visa Day should visit www.ustraveldocs.in or call +91 120 4844644 or +91 40 46258222 for information and to schedule an appointment. Please note: students can book a visa interview appointment on any day that is convenient for them. May 28th is simply an option if it works in their schedule.
