Dear NGO and CBO administrators and friends,

The Cetana Educational Foundation is offering young people committed
to development in Myanmar the opportunity to earn an Associate of Arts
degree in Social Sciences. The first batch of students is set to
graduate in December, and we are now accepting applications for a
second batch that will begin studies in January 2012.

Attached are the program overview and application materials. Please
share this information with members of your organization and other
individuals who have shown commitment to development and an interest
in continuing their education. The minimum requirement for applicants
is two years of paid or volunteer experience in NGOs, CBOs, or other
organizations together with the recommendation of a supervisor. The
application deadline is October 21.

Program highlights include:
• Internationally recognized degree awarded by the Open University of Hong
Kong
• Two-year associate’s degree program completed in 16 months of full-time
study
• Social sciences curriculum relevant to careers in development
• Lectures by qualified professors with content adapted to the Myanmar
context
• Monthly stipend of 100,000 kyats to cover living expenses in Yangon
