Dear friends:

i am in learning the use of Nmag software, now i have a small problem : does Nmag can simulate the H.C.Oersted's phenomenon (i.e. the phenomenon of "variable electric field induces magnetic" )?

Looking forward to your reply,Thank you very much!

Best regards

Dear Guoqiang,

The Oersted field computation is not provided in Nmag.

If your geometry and current distribution is simple, you can compute the Oersted field by different means (i.e. analytically or using other software), and then apply this as a spatially varying external field within Nmag.

Regards,

Hans
