I just uploaded the preprint of an extensive paper that describes
(a) the internal mechanics of the nmag system, and (b) what else
can be achieved by utilizing the underlying continuum physics
simulation engine. The URL is:
http://arxiv.org/abs/0907.1587
While we do not expect this to be overly relevant to users who are
mostly interested in doing generic micromagnetic simulations of the
sort explained in the nmag manual, it may be very interesting to
users who are interested in multiphysics simulations that go beyond
the basic micromagnetic model and those extensions which we provide
so far (e.g. the recently added spin torque support). Should you find
this useful, and consider to use it for your own simulations, we would
strongly suggest to get in touch with us in order to coordinate
activities.
