The mission of Crossroads for Women is to provide comprehensive, integrated services to support women working to break the cycle of homelessness and incarceration and achieve healthy, stable, and self-sufficient lives in the community for themselves and their children.
Crossroads for Women is seeking a uniquely talented, compassionate and individual to provide case management services to homeless, formerly incarcerated women with co-occurring disorders. The position requires proficiency in trauma informed care, harm reduction, advocacy and case management. Candidates will be considered who demonstrate a working knowledge and experience with issues pertaining to addiction and mental health (co-occurring), trauma informed service delivery, strengths based and gender responsive service delivery as well as harm reduction, homelessness, incarceration and “street” activity. Must be able to prioritize competing needs of clients with organizational responsibilities. Must be compassionate, flexible, dedicated and most of all a deep desire to be part of a team dedicated to supporting women reach their goals. Must be able to obtain background clearance for entry into MDC.
Crossroads for Women provides a safe and supportive environment in which the women can identify and pursue their individual goals with support tailored to their individual needs. Crossroads also advocates for systemic change to reduce recidivism, create alternatives to incarceration, and enhance the resources available for all people attempting to leave street life.
