Free "Applying Alcohol Expectancy
Theory in Youth Prevention" Webinar

Six research studies have found  the Alcohol Literacy Challenge™ reduces underage and binge drinking in a single session by challenging alcohol expectancies with media literacy.  This webinar reviews the 1,000 research studies on alcohol expectancies to teach how such a paradigm shifting prevention program is possible. It covers how neural networks are built and activated, the power of the placebo effect & NIAAA’s call for prevention programs to begin challenging expectancies.

This 2 hour webinar offers participants 2 CEUs

The webinar service provider limits attendees to the first 50 who sign up. Please contact me to schedule a new webinar if you could not sign up.  And please pass this e-mail along to your collegautes who are interested, or who would simply like to earn the CEUs.

Single Session
Underage & Binge Drinking
Prevention Curriculum using Media Literacy to Challenge Beliefs about the Expected Efffects of Drinking
For 5th Grade to College Level Students

The Alcohol Literacy Challenge™ (ALC) is the first prevention curriculum proven to reduce youth alcohol abuse in a single session.
The biggest barrier keeping schools from embracing youth alcohol prevention & media literacy programs has now been overcome. Older programs required eight or more sessions to provide effective pevention results. The ALC does it in one.

ALC in cost-effectiveness.

The ALC Works
Across All Cultures

The ALC is designed to challenge the unique alochol expectancies and perceived media portrayals of drinking held by each participating student. This allows it to be used across different populations and cultural groups with the same efficacy. Because the specific beliefs of the students receiving the curricula are challenged during an ALC lesson, the curricula automatically morphs to become culturally specific to each group of students to whom the lesson is taught.
