Dear Uninvited Fufaji,
Quite an email. Very long. Very dramatic. Not very clear, but definitely ambitious.
You’ve managed to write a lot without actually saying much. Impressive, in its own way.
Quick reality check:
This party wasn’t born out of your email, like any other party won’t. Or your concerns. Or your late-night reflections on “collective experience.” Not everything is a response to you, even if that’s the working assumption.
The “invite-only” revelation was especially strong. You acknowledged it’s always been the norm… and then proceeded to critique it like it’s breaking news. Bold strategy. Doesn’t quite land, but bold.
Calling a college party the “only collective moment” is… telling. Most people manage to have a full college life without needing one event to carry that weight. But different experiences, I guess.
What really stands out, though, is the urgency. The need to analyze, question, and dramatize something this basic. That usually says more about the observer than the event.
Also, organizing something at this scale takes effort—real effort. Time, coordination, resources. Not just late-night commentary dressed up as analysis. Something you probably wouldn’t ever know :(
Anyways, the plan is simple. People who want to go will go. They’ll have a great time. Music, energy, no overthinking. Very simple. Very effective.
And for the rest?
Well… there’s always emails.
Nevertheless, if you’re more interested in being there than narrating from the outside, maybe try your luck out and reach out to someone from the OC instead of writing essays. You might be surprised.
Cheers. Hope to see you there, if the analysis phase wraps up in time.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!
