"My name is Emory Michaels, and I am a PhD student from Notre Dame working on a study at Vanderbilt for March and April.
I am currently seeking participants for an IRB-approved research study on software engineering.
We are looking for professional software engineers/developers to participate in an in-person session.
Study Details:
    • Eligibility: Must be a professional software engineer/developer (holds a full-time position).
    • Task: An eye-tracking and think-aloud study involving Java code reviews. Familiarity with Java is required, but you do not need to be an expert in Java.
    • Compensation: $200 for a 2-hour session.
    • Location: In-person at Vanderbilt
    • Timing: Flexible scheduling (mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, or weekends) throughout March and April 2026.
