Perhaps not. The person subscribing would have to be manually
approved only once. We may have to sacrifice some privacy, by
requiring individuals subscribing to the list to provide a contact
number and affiliation or job details so they could be verified. Then
completely stop automated list subscriptions.

Moreover, I doubt our list will grow big everyday which could have
added burden for the list manager.

Just my thoughts.

Some list mgmt software allows you to put posts from new members into
quarantine for a period of time (their first 3 msgs, first 2 weeks,
etc). I don't know if Yahoo allows that, and it would require human
intervention, but then you're not calling people at work etc.

I suggest requiring a DNA sample.
