Internet protection question

Hey everyone,

  My mother has been receiving emails with malicious links and I am hoping for a suggestion on how to protect her from them.  I need a solution that will work for all her devices anywhere, not just on her home network.  I considered setting up a pi-hole at her house, I could even set one up publicly that would work for her wherever, however that introduces a large management effort that I'm too busy to undertake.  Therefore, I'm looking for a provider that will provide a similar solution or a solution I can install and run myself but one that is designed for this from the ground up as a boot it and forget it process that includes auto updates, protection from brute force hack attacks, protection from abuse, etc.

If she happens to have an AP with DDWRT or similar open source firmware, it's adblock section has lists which are about malwares, ransomwares and such.

Not foolproof, but I have it set up.

That's really asking for a lot of stuff for free, but iRedMail would be a great flying start for the self-hosting route, since it already sets up SpamAssassin and ClamAV.  RoundCube with the option of SOGo is nice, too.

Oh, I realized I forgot to say that we are willing to pay for the service.  Sure, free would be great but I don't expect free.  Covering the home has several options from ddwrt to pi-hole or similar, but I am looking for something that would cover her when she travels which she still does quite a bit (i.e. more than 6 trips a year).
