Farewell to Nashville

It's time to pull up roots and tendrils and move to northeast Missouri.  It's been a good time living in Nashville and I'll continue to read posts from everyone here, perhaps post once in a while.

I bought an inverter/charger in 2020 and it's been great in UPS service.  I had an original 2013 single core Raspberry Pi, it got incorporated into a smart outlet strip.  It was one of the first things powered up when the new UPS came online and has what for me is a runtime record.

It controls a few lights based on sun times and is also an MQTT broker.  Not exactly stressful, and it just kept on running.  I shut it down a few minutes ago after 5.6 years of uptime.  It seems the trick to get a Pi to run for a long time is to use high endurance media.

Thanks for the opportunity to meet so many NLUG members, and I've enjoyed all the posts over the years.
