This is intended as self deprecation, not advice...
I'm likely not the only person who has, in a huff, edited
/etc/resolv.conf to get what I really want to get done - NOW - done.
Instead, we should go muck our changes in /etc/systemd/resolved.conf

and then sudo systemctl restart systemd-resolved
