Hi! There is this student run non-profit organisation called BloodConnect  which works in the area of blood shortage. They are doing a tremendous job by organising blood donation camps in various colleges, helping people arrange blood in emergency, and trying to ensure continuous supply of blood through voluntary blood donation in Government blood banks. To know more about them, please visit http://www.bloodconnect.org/about.

They have expressed interest in conducting a blood donation camp here at NLU, Delhi some time in the month of May, 2013. Before going ahead with the proposal, I need to give them an estimate of the number of people who'd be interested in donating blood.

I have attached a poster giving details of who all can donate. Some of the details mentioned in the poster are specific to the day of blood donation (ex: alcohol consumption, antibiotics, influenza, etc). These details can be ignored for now and will be relevant on the specific day when the camp will be organised. The rest of them such as typhoid, dengue, diabetes, etc are more important and they will determine as to who would be able to donate blood on that day.

Please write back to me if you're interested so I can give them a tentative number of people. You can also call/text me in case of any queries.

Best
