I am facing the same problem. I am using a Windows 7/64 computer. I have tried various versions of Python 32, including 3.5.4 and 3.6.4. But I always get the error message: "python version -32 is required, which wasn't found in the registry". I have spent a lot of time trying to get nltk-3.2.5.win32 to install, but the install fails every time. I have installed and uninstalled various 32 bit versions of Python. Restarted my computer several times, etc. I see others are having the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

As there was suggested by Dimitriadis, A. You can avoid this problem by installing the nltk from the Windows CMD prompt command line at Windows with `pip install nltk`. I have used this option and it finely works .Sincerely,
