Dear all,

We have been informed by the Placement Officer that in-principle approval for extending the October vacations to a month has been taken. The result of the same is going to be a reduction in the January break. The same has been extended for providing a full period of four weeks to intern in the October break. The final decision is however pending and should be out by the middle of this month.

Further, a proposal to make the compulsory appellate court internship in fourth year non-mandatory is also on the cards. The result will be that people can opt for RCC firm internship without having to do a Lit internship. People wanting to do  Lit internships can still take the assistance of the Placement Office if they may so wish.  This is also under consideration and a final decision is expected soon.

We have been asked to convey the opinion, comments of our class on the proposed changes. Thus please write back to us at rcc.n...@gmail.com if you wish to say anything about these changes. We will forward your views to the Placement Officer.

Cheers,
Akshat
(On behalf of the RCC'17)
