Hey everyone,
Good news! We've got the 6th slot at the NUJS PD. Consequently, the speaker and adjudicator lists have been modified as shown below.
We still have one speaker slot left. Flight tickets currently are around 7k for a one-way from Bangalore (JetKonnect). With return it's around 11-12k. The tournament is from 25 - 28 January with registration and the adjudication test on 25th and debate rounds beginning on 26th.
Registration fee is to be paid on arrival and is 1500 per person.
All those interested can apply till 8 PM tomorrow, i.e, 12th January. After that the list will be finalized and sent to NUJS organizers. Accommodation is, of course, inclusive of the registration.
Do apply, this is an open tournament and you'll get to see NLS alumni teams debate [Uttara's CA as well :)] along with other top college teams and adjudicators, making this the most competitive tournament in India (largely due to our inclusion, but still :p ).

Please Note: We thank everyone for applying and we remind the confirmed speakers that the penalty for dropping a debate without a compelling reason after confirmation results in relegation to the bottom of offering i.e. least priority for the subsequent debate applied for.
As for the other debates, The IIT Guwahati National Parliamentary Debate - 31 Jan - 3 Feb, 2013 has only received 2 speakers and 1 adjudicator. Thus, there are 7 speaker slots and 2 adjudicator slots still left to be filled. First-come-first-served applies.
Additionally, if anyone wishes to take part in the inaugural ILS National PD (19-21 January), please send us a mail so that we can register you. The debate will be held in the Asians Format.
Lastly, we will begin practice sessions today, and will update all confirmed participants in the debate and adjudication team googlegroup. Please do look out for more updates.
Cheers!
