Hey
While doing the workshop at Kumarans today, it occurred to me that
moving up the section on argumentation, and covering it along with the
section on logic would be a good idea. Obviously, this ties in with
the examples we use ( like the Jan Lokpal example) and how we ask the
kids to think . It also makes logic look like more than syllogisms
and scattered references to cool arguments.
It'll probably simplify the actual explanation of the format of the
debate; for by the time we explain it, they'll have a reasonable idea
of what characterization is, or what a case as opposed to random
arguments amounts to.
Any suggestions?
