Well, welcome to the "NLP-Japanese" mailing list, which was
created yesterday. The list came into being because Darren Cook
asked if there was a suitable place to discuss, in English,
issues about NLP in Japanese. Darren's question was on the
edict-...@yahoogroups.com list, which is really about a
particular dictionary project. NLP-related questions have
also popped up recently on the hon...@googlegroups.com list,
but again that's not really an appropriate forum.
So there it is. Feel free to promulgate the list's
existence among people likely to be interested.
The list is set up so that any member can
post, i.e. there is no moderation. People joining have to be
approved by an "owner", and at present there are four
(Darren, me, Tim Baldwin & Francis Bond).
Looking forward to some productive discussions.
