taking part in the Circle's monthly meeting on 23.03.2014 at Nahar
Hall. For those of you who missed out or walked in late:
In the first half of the session, Mr. A.V. Ramanathan, HRD/ Soft skills trainer, discussed the concept of TA & Feedback.
He explained in detail how Feedback is not merely a communication of impression between two people but establishing a relationship of trust and understanding between them.

He explained in detail how Feedback is not merely a communication of impression between two people but establishing a relationship of trust and understanding between them.
His talk encompassed numerous guidelines on giving negative feedback by those in authority as well as handling positive feedback, constructive criticism and destructive criticism by those on the receiving end.

In the second half of the session, Mr. Muthiah Ramanathan, Secretary NLP & TA Circle, introduced us to the world of " Psychodrama ".
Psychodrama is an active and creative therapeutic approach that uses guided drama and role playing to work through problems. Developed by Dr. Jacob Moreno, psychodrama can be effective individually or in a group.
During each psychodrama session, participants re-enact specific scenes and experiences with guidance from a therapist. These scenes may include past situations or preparations for future events. In a group setting, other participants play the roles of significant others, offering support and bringing to the surface underlying beliefs and issues.
The goals of psychodrama are to gain new insights, resolve problems, and practice new life skills and behaviours.
