Dear Friends
NLP and TA
Circle thanks you for taking part in the Circle's monthly meeting on
22.12.2013 at Nahar Hall.
For those of you who missed out:
Mr. V. Karthik emphasized the importance of maintaining a stroke bank of positive strokes and shared his views on how the lack of positive strokes in infancy leads to anti-social behaviour in adulthood.
The "Stroke Exchange" was conducted for about 10 minutes where members exchanged positive strokes. The rule was "No criticism, only praise"
Mr. Arun Kumar, explained at length the "Karpman Drama Triangle" in TA, the roles, the switches and clear cut ways to get out of the triangle.
In the second half of the session, Major Narayanan described how words play an important role in changing our mindset and in influencing others.
He quoted extensively from Robert Cialdini's book "Influence" as well as from the teachings of Robert Dilts.
We have attached the power point slideshow on "Language Patterns" presented by Major Narayanan to this mail. We hope you find it useful.
Please do send us your feedback and mark your calendar for our next meeting on
19.01.2014. We have advanced the next meeting to the 3rd Sunday of the month as 26th Jan is a public holiday.
We look forward to your continued patronage.
