Hello all,

I've recently switch from 1.8.10 to 2.0.4, mostly because I was so happy I got
GTK2 to run. (please don't ask :P) Anyhoo, I've run into a few
irregularities, wouldn't really call them bugs.. I've browsed through the
archives of this list and found one of them mentioned but not further
discussed, so I wanted to bring the two main problems up here and see if they
are considered bugs, features or the result of alien intervention:

1) (I've seen this mentioned in a mail from last month) When you close a tab
with ctrl + w, the last tab gets focus (if the tabbar is on the bottom of
your screen, that's the rightmost tab). This behavious is highly unlogic and
I can't imagine any situation where it would be preferable to the old
behaviour (close tab -> next tab down the list gets focus). I have no clue
how the xchat source looks like, but this sounds like a rather simple thing
to change to me, no?

2) If you accidently hold down shift while pressing return at the end of a
line, your line is not sent. This was not the case in XChat 1.8.10. Now
you'll say just don't hold down shift.. the problem is, it happens a lot
accidently if you type a smilie in the end of the line, as both :) and :P
finish with a shift + keypress. It's slightly annoying this way.
